Review: Great tiny restaurant, a good break from the chain restaurants. It offers a relaxed, campy, hunting lodge-like ambiance and décor, as well as a bar. The staff was excellent, really pleasant, and courteous. The food was excellent, with generous amounts for the price. For dinner, I had a Buffalo bacon cheeseburger with fresh-cut fries and a brownie sundae for dessert.
The Bus Stop Bar & Grill
10014 Dixie Hwy, Birch Run, MI 48415
Sometimes it’s best just to show the reviews about a neighborhood bar. Here are a few.
One of the most outstanding local establishments. I’ve gone here a lot because it’s so near to home. I’ve never had a negative time here. Excellent service, delicious meal, and reasonable prices. I had the BBQ pulled pork quesadilla today, and it was delicious. And Tuesdays are $1.50 domestic bottles, which is hard to beat.
We had delicious fish and perch meals. A skewer of garlic shrimp was also included, which was fantastic. The rates were reasonable, and there were plenty of leftovers. I’ll be returning because the menu offered numerous appealing options. The waitress was fantastic.
This location appeared in the middle of nowhere, but it oozed a pleasant attitude. Liz, our waiter, swiftly welcomed us once we chose our table. She quickly took our drink orders and then our meal choices. Throughout our lunch, Liz was attentive. After a little delay, our lunch arrived hot, so hot that we had to wait a few minutes before eating! This restaurant has a local feel to it; it’s not fancy, but it’s pleasant, and the service is superb. We were in the region and wanted to avoid the chain eateries and all-you-can-eat chicken joints.
Garlic Knots, Parmesan Crusted Baked Cod, and Honey Battered Fried Chicken are all excellent choices. The service was fantastic, and the facility was immaculate.
